Title III-E Caregiver Minimum Assessment
(CMA) Learning Module

Description: This module addresses rationale, process, and tools including the Caregiver Minimum Assessment (CMA) questionnaire for supporting family caregivers of older adults. It provides tips for “setting the stage” and framework for approaching “hot button” topics such as concerns about burden and depression with caregivers. It reviews goal-setting process including caregiver struggle with setting goals, and common pathways for improving burden and depression among caregivers.   

Pre-Requisite:  this module is an update for Title III-E funded caregiver consultants and others who have completed the Minnesota Board on Aging Caregiver Coaching Basic Training, and are using caregiver coaching and consulting as a strategy for supporting family caregivers.
